If you haven’t seen it already, the new Inspiration Board feature became available to artists this week.
While ETChster has many software tools to help artists market and both artists and art collectors stay organized, participating with other community members is just as valuable.
Many members have shared that they find inspiration from the profiles of other members and would like to be able to keep track of particular Etchings they saw for future reference. Enter the Inspiration Board!
Your Inspiration Board
- Is accessed from your profile.
- Keeps track of Etchings you have liked.
[/vc_message][vc_column_text]We heard the request for this feature in different ways from artists at different places in their careers.
From our members just getting started, we heard the request more as a tool to keep track of pieces for consideration while working to develop a style and specific skills: drawing, painting, etc.
From our senior members, it was more just to keep track of pure inspiration. “I saw this piece and I just wanted to be sure I came back to look at it again!”
Accessing the Inspiration Board
Be sure that you are logged into ETChster and then follow these steps.
- Visit your profile page (found in the footer navigation bar).
- Find the profile owner section at the top and locate the inspiration section. Mobile users: Click “Inspiration” in the mini-menu. Desktop: you’ll see the section in the top right.
- Click “Etchings Liked”
Using the Inspiration Board
By default, you’ll see all of the Etchings you have liked to date.
Use the search bar to narrow down to specific Etchings.
Future Functionality
This is a brand new feature. Like the rest of the platform, the ETChster greatly appreciates your feedback to help us add functionality to it over time. Once you’ve had a chance to use your inspiration board, we’d love to hear from you.
