Rich Amounts of Data

Each etching (item record) stores pages worth of information: such as photos, description, creation date, creation location, dimensions, hidden internal notes and more. All data stays connected to the item permanently.

Cross Platform Cloud Storage

Your collection is accessible from any connected device: phone, tablet or desktop. To view or edit records on the go, all you need is an internet connection.

Infinitely Customizable Collections

With Collections you can organize unique sets of your objects. These sets can be added to your website pages, sent as previews through email, used to track traveling exhibits, and more.

ETC Number (Unique Global ID)

Every object in ETChster is automatically tagged with a unique ETC number that permanently links the object to your collection. This number permanently connects each piece to your profile and websites, no matter where it travels.

Etchings hold photos from past and present owners and populate your website connectors.

Custom Groups

Custom Groups can be used for internal organization or used to build your public collections. Objects can belong to multiple groups.

Bulk Data Export

Export tools make it easy to share your collection with other organizations such as insurance agencies, either in print or .csv files.

Profile to Profile Transfers

When you acquire an object through ETChster, the transfer record stores past history of the object and links back to its creator and all past owners.

Your Public Profile

Your ETChster profile connects your story, your fans, your collection, its creators, your website, social media & more.

Object Maps

Let your fans know where they can find your public collection whether it is in-house or on display globally.

From Curators Like You...

We recommend this to historical societies, museums, and artists as it is an excellent piece of software.

I own and operate a small non-profit museum in Atlanta, GA, and we were looking for a software package for archiving historical artifacts, documents, and photographs after creating a database on our own.

In our research, we found that programs were rather expensive, especially for a non-profit. But we couldn’t really find a program that suited our needs unless we paid the high price. Then we found ETChster.

It could do everything we wanted and more, so we got it without hesitation. It has been in use for about 5 months now and each time we add items to the collection we are impressed with how easy it is to archive our inventory.

Not only is it great for small museums, but for artists as well, to upload and share their work via the database.

We recommend this to historical societies, museums, and artists as it is an excellent piece of software.
